progesterone and orgasms

This is one I'd never heard before! I read on another forum that increasing progesterone levels during pregnancy causes a decrease in ability to have strong orgasms. The doctor said this was the body's way of protecting itself. He advised the woman on the forum that he could tell that she wasn't producing enough progesterone to sustain pregnancy- since she was still able to have strong clitoral orgasms. Have you ever heard this and is there any truth to it? Ann
