It was almost certainly examined within an hour or two of delivery, but you would not believe the amount of red tape that is involved in creating a report, having in proofed by the pathologist in charge of lab, printed, distributed, finally to arrive in your doctor's inbox, where it will be read when your doc gets through all of the other stuff he/she has to read each day.
