Hello I am looking for information on sacral nerve damage from posterior birth. A year ago I gave birth. Two weeks before the birth I began to have contractions. These contraction ranged from 20 to 5 minutes apart and I had terrible back pain with them. I seen my care provider and hospital and was told I was in false labour. After a week I found it very difficult to pass urine. I could feel my bladder full but could not physically release. I was told to drink more water. In the end I stopped feeling contractions and back pain took over. My water broke in the hospital, that I had gone to asking for help. I was diagnosed with a slip disc and I had wet myself I was 39 weeks along. The baby was finally delivered by forceps.

I now have problems with voiding of urine and bowel incontinence and I live with terrible pain. I would like to hear if this is known to happen. I would love to read an articles on it or hear from anyone with this problem. I have searched the net looking for articles on posterior births and problems caused by them. But I do not find any reference to my problem. May be I do not use the right terminology? If there is no articles writen on sacral nerve damage from birth. I should knock on some doors to get one writen. I do not want any other woman live my misery
