I am a 28 year old who went off the pill two months ago. Last month, my cycle felt very normal (29 days) except for some abdominal/pelvic discomfort about a week before my period came. It lasted for about four days and did not really hurt, it was just a swollen feeling with a minor dull ache. Some backache, too. Ended with onset of bleeding and period was normal--not heavy-- and lasted five days. This month, I am experiencing the same discomfort, only earlier (have not gotten period yet). It's been going on about three days now. Before the pill, I always experienced more severe cramping and twinging. I am able to do all of my normal activities. Is a week ahead too early for normal uterine discomfort before period... is it likely to be endometriosis, adenomyosis, or something more severe than premenstrual symptoms/hormones bouncing back from pill? My husband and I are trying to conceive. Thank you for your help.
