This is an area of controversy. Inductions of VBACs seem to have a higher risk of uterine rupture, though the risk is still very low. Pitocin is not as concerning as Cytotec (misoprostol), but there are still concerns. This is distinct from using pit to augment labor, an entirely different issue.
