This is a special xray that helps determine if the fallopian tubes are patent or not. it is done in the xray department. Your GYN will insert a speculum, clean off your cervix, and place a tiny catheter in your cervix for the dye. The dye will be inserted, and while it is going in the Doc will watch it on a video screen. It is a pretty standard part of an infertility workup. Causes a bit of cramping, but not too bad.
