i want to know if there are any genetic markers for antenatal assessment of foetal lung development, especially the surfactant development. i recently lost my baby at 30 weeks due to prematurity & inadequate development of lung surfactant but hyaline membrane disease was ruled out apparently. i had polyhydramnios of moderate degree, idiopathic. all other causes of polyhydramnios were ruled out.

anyone with inputs, please help so that i can take care it does not recurr next time.
