I am curious about what a past Chlamydial infection could have done to me. I was never aware of having it (I have had 3 sexual partners- HS sweetheart, my ex-husband, and my current husband), and am positive that I have never had PID. I had a miscarriage in 9/92 with 1st marriage, and we tried for 3 years after to conceive, with no success. My ex had a SA - showing some abnormalities, but the dr said that 'there should be enough normal semen to produce a conception' - something along those lines. I had an HSG done in '96 - showing no blockage. No other tests were done at that time. I found out after my divorce that my ex had been using marijuana often - so I attributed some of our troubles to that. My husband and I have now been trying to conceive since February '01 (actively) although I have been off BCP's since 9/00. Do you have any input of what a past Chlamidal infection might have done to me? I can't seem to put it all into perspective on when I could have gotten it, and why it did not affect me getting pg the 1st time if I had it at that time. I doubt that it's something that I have gotten from my current husband- but I guess anything is possible. My doctor wants to do another HSG to check my tubes again. Do you think this is necessary since I had one in '96? My other blood work is normal. Estrogen check with mature follicle is good. I have an 18 mm follicle right now.

Thank you for your time,
