My blood pressure and urine checks fine when I go to the doctor so he doesn't seem to be worried about toxemia. However, I have started to retain fluid in my stomach. My stomach hurts when touched or bumped. What causes abdominal swelling during pregnancy, is it something to worry about, and will it hurt the baby? My doctor plans to induce me in a week if I have not delivered by that time but I am worried about the swelling in my stomach. I've never heard or seen anything like it before.
