Sorry this has nothing to do with pregnancy, but I need to know what this is... One of my friends come to me yesterday asking had I ever had an ANA bloodtest done and if I had ever heard of the ANA bloodtest. I told her no. She has to have it done next week and is very concerned. She didn't speak to her doctor about it, she just accepted what he had to say without question...here is her history (well as much as I know of it) SHe has 2 healthy children, no mc's and has her tubes tied now. She is 22 yrs old. In March she weighed roughly 150pds and her height is 5ft 5. She weighed by the end of june 112pds. Her hair began falling out somewhat and I think she looks really pale. This is all she is telling me. She hasn't discussed any other problems but she really wants to know why the doctor is giving her this test. Any ideas?
