Abrupt Cessation of SymptomsFrom: AG (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 26 Jul 2001 11:36:15 -0500 (CDT)
My husband and I recently found out we were pregnant (a shocker because my husband uses a wheelchair and we weren't sure he was still fertile). The pregnancy was confirmed by blood test through my primary care physician, but I did not have a obgyn, so it is taking sometime to get an appointment. I am estimating by my last period that I am 7-8 weeks. Last week I had extremely tender breasts (it was painful to be hugged, and even to sleep) and mild abdominal cramps. I had no nausea. Three days ago my breasts stopped hurting, and the abdominal pains ceased. I had felt pregnant, and now I absolutely do not. I have no spotting or bleeding. Because I couldn't get in to see my new obgyn until next week, I went to a prenatal care clinic and asked for advice. They did an internal sonogram and said I appeared to be 6 weeks pregnant, but they couldn't tell me anything else. They said to "wait and see". Any ideas while I "wait and see"?
