Is it normal to have her cervix open/dilated during normal menses when she has bleeding and cramps? Hypothetical question: By definition in threatened abortion cervix is closed, and in inevitable it is open. If the same woman is in early pregnancy and has bleeding and cramps, 2. Would open/dilated cervix necessarily point to inevitable abortion, or it could still be a threatened abortion? After all she has come through several procedures that involved cervix?
