Avery,

I had the same thing. Around 6-8 weeks, Some days they barely hurt at all, other days they were pretty uncomfortable. I was always on pins and needles, wondering if it meant anything. Apparently it didn't -- now I'm 12.5 weeks along and much less nervous and the baby is fine. I have heard from lots of people that it fluctuates. I bet that when people are nervous (like me and you) they pay more attention to these things -- maybe it fluctuates for everyone and they just don't notice it! I hope all goes well for you. Good luck.
