The baby's heartrate will drop below 120 from time to time, and rise above 160 from time to time as well. This is perfectly normal, and to be honest, this is an example of the biggest problem with listening to the heartbeat for frequent and extended lengths of time, the unnecessary concern caused by minor and routine aberrations in "normal" heartrates.
