If two women have similar Triple Test results (maternal serum results) but one woman is at her "ideal" weight" the other 50lbs overweight, is the overweight lady prone to have a higher "risk evaluation"? For example, if a woman weighed 200lbs instead of 150lbs at the time of her Triple Test, would that automatically put her at higher risk - simply being overweight? Or is the biggest factor in the triple test the maternal serum results themselves. Thank you in advance for your response.
