My cycles were always irregular, but if you had a 39-40 day cycle, day 25 would be 14 days before your next period, which is approximately when you would ovulate. I'd say it's definitely possible. With my current pregnancy, I would have had to ovulate around November 26th, and that would have been day 31 of my cycle (LMP was October 26th - which would have given me an Aug 2nd due date. U/S has given me (3 times) an August 21 due date.

If you have normal 28-day cycles, however, I'd think it'd be less likely.
