If it is herpes, know that a person can have it and not ever have an outbreak or know that they have it. The stress of a pregnancy (hormones, etc) could even bring on an outbreak. It would not mean that your husband has been cheating recently, or ever, for that matter. You could have contracted it before you were even married and just have been asymtomatic. I would definitely discuss it with him if it is found that is what you have, but don't start accusing right away.

Definitely talk to your doctor and read more about herpes (I'm certainly not an expert - the above things are just what my friend with it has told me from her research).

Good luck to you.
