Dr Shanahan - Re: # of follicles

I had the u/s done because I will be having an HSG done in a couple of
days and that was part of their workup. They are talking about putting
me on clomid if my tubes are open to help with low progesterone. I am
not taking any fertility meds now. So is 5 follicles a lot? What is
normal or should I say average? She (my RE) didn't say one way or the
other. Thanks again!
