1 Hour GTT -- WIll water and +30 minutes affect results???

I had my first OB appt today at 11 wks 1 day, and the OB decided to schedule me for an immediate 1 hr GTT, among other tests, because I am overweight and have chronic candida infections. (There is no history of diabetes or gestational diabetes for me or my family.)

Here was the problem: after 1 hour I was taken back for the blood draw, but apparently I was dehydrated or something, because although the tech punched the veins three times, he could not get enough blood for the tube. He had me drink 32 oz. of water and sit for 15 minutes, then proceeded to redraw and did manage to get enough for the GTT. By this time 1 hr 30 minutes had passed.

Will the test results be invalidated by the water or the extra 15 minutes? Should this be enough of a concern to note to doctor, based on my condition/history?

Thank you very much for your time and efforts -- they are appreciated!!
