I'm 27 yrs old and what I consider to be in great health....don't drink, smoke, etc. Please don't take this the wrong way because I'm not trying to scare you. I just want to make you understand that it's only in your hands to a certain degree. My first 2 pg's were miscarried very early. I still don't know why, although I suspect it may have been a progesterone problem. My third pg resulted in the birth of precious baby that went to be with Jesus after only 8 days. She passed away from a rare genetic syndrome in which my husband and I are carriers. We were not aware of this until having her. We are carriers of this gene and will always have a 25% chance of recurrance with each pg. You see, there is absolutely NOTHING we can do about that. Since this is rare, it would be very unlikely that anything of this nature would happen to you. Miscarriages are very common and most are caused by unknown reasons or chromosome problems.....which again you have absolutely no control over. You are very likely to have a healthy baby. If you get pg, please enjoy it and don't obsess over what can and cannot go wrong. Best of luck and GOD Bless, April
