titanium dioxide in sunscreen

I will be vacationing at the beach next week and know it's inevitable that I will be out in the sun for at least some of the time. I've purchased Neutrogena Sensitive Skin Sunblock which has "no irritating chemical sunscreens". Instead, the active ingredient is Titanium Dioxide (described on the label as an inert physical block). Is Titanium Dioxide safe to use during pregnancy (I am 24 weeks) or should I have stuck with a standard product which uses chemical ingredients to protect against burning?

Thank so much. This board is so wonderful!!!
