Daniel Braun, MD: "Re: HEAVY period after miscarriage" I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks (the baby developed to only 6.5) on June 2 (no D&C) and bled for a few days after. On July 11, I started bleeding again and had three days of extremely heavy bleeding with large clots. For the past several days, every evening/afternoon I'll suddenly start bleeding profusely and passing medium sized clots after not bleeding all day. The bleeding episdoes don't last long, but does all this sound normal? I've been bleeding 8 days now and my periods usually last only 4.
