32 weeks and -3 station, first childFrom: sharon (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 19 Jul 2001 10:39:10 -0500 (CDT)
My cervix is still closed and long, but I've had a lot of Braxton Hicks whenever I've left the house or sat up for long in recent weeks. My doctor said to take it easy till 34 weeks. I mostly recline or sit with my feet up at home, but it's hard when things come up, such as childbirth classes, or getting my stepdaughter from her camp bus a block away. Is this a risky enough situation that I should treat it as total bedrest and not get up or go out for anything? If the baby is already at -3, head first, could it still move back up? One book said that in a first pregnancy, once the baby starts to drop, you can expect to see labor within 2-4 weeks. Is this true? thanks Sharon
