Last week not only did I receive a full head dental xray but I was holding my 5 year-old daughter when she received 8 mouth xrays (they blanketed her, and she was on my lap- so I suppose I was somewhat shielded.) I am very nervous about what effects these multiple xrays may have on my fetus. I know some women posted earlier on dental xrays, but I wasn't sure if I am at greater risk considering how many I was recently exposed to and without my own shield. I thank you for listening and if someone wouldn't mind responding- I am interested in your honest medical opinion. Thank you.
