Hi, I just wanted to warn you about vitex. I considered taking it instead of clomid because it seemed more "natural." I asked an acupuncturist/herbalist and a compounding pharmacist and they both told me that vitex is one of those natural herbs that can't be regulated. Each berry contains a different amount of the active ingredient and it's really hard to determine how much you're getting either with a tincture or pill. It can also lengthen your cycles, not shorten them, and it can also inhibit ovulation for some women. During medieval times it was used as a contraceptive, thus the name "chaste" berry. The research you talk about for menopausal and pre-menstrual women was done for reducing pms symptoms and the effects of menopause like hot flashes. No research has been done in the effectiveness for getting pg. Good luck in making your decision. BTW, I took the clomid and I'm now 6 weeks pg!
