Hi. I am going through a miscarriage right now at 5 wks. ppart of me still can't believe this has happened to me. It's just one of those things that happens to other women, not me. Anyway, I know that there is a good chance that I had nothing to do with losing this pregnancy, but I can't help to wonder about something that happened a few days before the miscarriage symptoms came on. We have a 2 year old and one night he came in our room to get in bed with us. I did not sit up to pick him up instead I just lifted his 30 lb. body over me and put him between us. As soon as I did this I felt all of my stomach muscles being used. Shortly after I felt slight abdominal pains. If I am fortunate enough to get pregnant again should I be lifting my son the same as if I were not pregnant. Thanks for any views on this.
