Janet, Carpal tunnel problems do tend to be notorious about getting worse during pregnancy, but they tend to resolve as you get further from the pregnancy-breastfeeding or not. I think you are going to have to give this more time from the pregnancy and I would CONTINUE to breastfeed. I would seek an appointment with an orthopedist, who can get you to see a physical therapist who will be able to give you some therapy that may get you through until the pregnacy effects have resolved...
