Most doctors base your due date off of your last period. You generally conceive 2 weeks after this, so your doc is basically saying that it has been 7 weeks since your last period, but the baby is actually only 5 weeks old. Most of the time when people ask how far along you are, it is based off of your last period. So you can tell people that you are 7 weeks along. you will be due in 33 weeks. Congratulations! Jenny
