Hi Jackie thanks for your replay this is all new to me especailly the way they calculate pregnancy dates, very confusing.

I believe my dr. calculated my weeks of pregnancy based on the following information:

1. I did not have sex at all in June 2001 (husband commutes to job out-of-state).

2. My Last Menstrual "Period" started on 6.3.01. And was unusual for me, started several days early, very painful, lots of cramping, stopped after 2 days, skipped a day started again very lightly for 1 day, so it was shorter also. Dr. told me this probably wasn't a period. I'm guessing it was just bleeding caused from the fertilized egg implanting.

3. My May period started on May 8th and in the 3rd & 4th week in May had sex, so I'm guessing that's when I conceived.

But, since my dr. said today I'm 7weeks pregnant (5 week old fetus) shouldn't he have estimated the due date Feb, 24, 2001 not March 10, 2001?
