It does not matter what the dad's blood type is if the mother has positive blood. Think of it this way...in blood transfusion a person with positive blood can recieve either positive or negative (or a positive or negative baby). And a person with negative blood can ONLY recieve negative blood (or a negative baby), but with the help of Rhogam this is not an issue for the majority of moms with negative blood.
