help with discrepancy in dates! I had an ultrasound yesterday and it measured 5w5d with no fetal pole yet and healthy corpus luteum. It was done late in the day and my Dr. was out of the office so I have a couple of questions. My last period was May 15 with ovulation on June 1 per opk and temp rise so this would put me at 7w by dates. This is such a big discrepancy and at 7w you should at least be able to see a fetal pole at least correct? So how can the u/s date be so far off unless something is wrong? Also does the corpus luteum remain intact and healthy looking if this pregnancy quit growing at 5w5d or would it be gone or shrinking? I am taking progesterone supplements for a slightly low level. Okay one more question-Does implantation have anything to do with the discrepancy in dates? Could I have just implanted late? Thanks for any reply!
