Re: Conception on 21st day?From: A (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 4 Jul 2001 16:51:00 -0500 (CDT)
This is the most obnoxious and irresponsible post I've ever seen on this forum. You don't claim to be a doctor and have no idea whether Kim is pregnant or not -- pregnant women can in fact have bleeding even though it is rare. Please don't lecture people who are seeking help. You didn't even read her post correctly because she said she was using a condom and there was no ejaculation. She did NOT say they used withdrawal. Either way she did use a form of birth control -- the condom. A few days or weeks of extra Vitamin C is not going to cause scurvy. It will more likely cause severe diarhhea that will cause the user to stop taking it before it will cause permanent health defects to the user. Whether high doses of vitamins and herbs will cause harm to the fetus is of course another story, and no one should risk taking unprescribed vitamins, herbs or any meds if they are pregnant. Of course people should practice responsible behaviors (abstinence, birth control pills/shots) to avoid situations that they are not ready for, but when someone is looking for answers you shouldn't lecture them based on your own moral issues. I hope no one lectures you when you seek help for a problem or condition that might be caused by something you did. Kim: Please see my response to your post, available under your original post.
