Anovulation?From: allison (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 3 Jul 2001 16:47:37 -0500 (CDT)
Hello again, I have been monitoring my cycle using an OPK. I usually have a cycle length of 27-29 days. I had a + opk last month on day 14. This month I have been using OPK since cd10. I had - on cd10,cd11 but on cycle day 12 I had aline which was almost the same shade as the control line. As I am impatient I repeated it again later at 2000 hours, however both lines were faint (inc. control) ? due to increased fluid intake, not holding urine long enough. I then tested the next day at 2000 hours and had a neg opk, and have had negs ever since. My q is: did I catch the surge the other day, going up or down? I know it should last 24 hours, but the second test i did that day was void i think due to excess fluids, and the test the next day was therefore more than 24 hours OR does this sound like a surge that wasn't high enough and therefore anovulatory? Thankyou for your help,
