postpartum hemmorhoids

Hi, I delivered my son on Wednesday, and I have terrible hemmorhoids that are causing me quite a bit of pressure, and pain during bowel movements. The one is about the size of a small walnut and the rest are raisin sized. What can I do to help them shrink to a more comfortable size? I have tried tucks, using the peri bottle with warm water, showers, and cortisone cream. It seems to have gotten worse over the last 2 days, which leads me to believe I have been doing too much. I only had 1 stitch, so that really isn't bothering me...I also have very minimal bleeding, and feel pretty amazing otherwise. Any advice would be helpful. Also, when am I allowed to take a bath? That would feel so good right now, and they never mentioned it to me when I was discharged. Thanks for your help.
