I have a question regarding my due date. To start off with I had an IUD surgically removed since it was very stubborn. After the operation I was bleeding in between periods. I went and had it checked out on December 8th of last year (2000), the doctor looked at my uterus via ultrasound and said everything looked good. She also told me that I was ovulating. The next day I had sex with my husband and found out we where pregnant. I went to the doctor and had my first ultrasound that gave an EDD of August 31st. In the next few months my due date was changed, for reasons unknown to me, my due date now is August 13th. I had an AFP, GD and level II ultrasound based on this new date of August 13th. The level II ultrasound revealed (according to the baby's measurements) that the due date of August 13th was right on. I recently found this mistake and took it up with my doctors office. My doctor is out of town and the nurse practioners do not know why she changed my due date. I don't know why this is bothering me so much, it just is. Can anyone tell me why my dates might have been changed when we knew the exact day of conception? If the date of conception was December 9th what is my true due date? Thank You,
