Hostile mucus is usually evaluated by a postcoital test. It is often treated by bypassing the cervix and doing an intrauterine insemination. You may want to try taking plain old robitussin. It has a mucus thinning agent in it called guanifesen. Start it on day 10 of cycle and take 1-2 tbs 3-4 times a day for 10 days.
