Multiple pregnancy and vaginal bleedingFrom: Marta (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 30 Jun 2001 04:46:36 -0500 (CDT)
I am 8 weeks pregnant. Last week I was told that I had 6 embryos which was quite a big shock. They told me that I can lose some of them, so that they wnted to repeat the ultrasound again in 2 weeks. Yesterday I started with some cramps and slight bleeding and I went to the E.R. The doctor told me that it was a possible miscarriage, though I has stopped bleeding and my cervix was closed. He told me too that if I miscarriage I will lose the six of them. Is that true? I thought that perhaps the slight bleeding was due to losing one of them. I am still throwing some brown liquid and I have slight cramps too. Please, tell me the truth. It has been very difficult for me to get pregnant (I have PCOS) and I can not stand the possibility of losing all of them. Thank you in advance.
