IUI - intrauterine insemination (sperm is placed inside uterus to facilitate conception)

IVF - invitro fertilization (egg is harvested from ovary, sperm is added in the lab, outside the woman's body, conception occurs, and embryos are placed back in the uterus.)

In a nutshell... :)

IUI and IVF what do they mean?
