Question regarding Glucose ScreenFrom: Deena (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 29 Jun 2001 20:30:16 -0500 (CDT)
Yesterday I got my results from my glucose screen done at 28w 2d and was told that my results were 147. They said cut off was 136, so I would have to take the 4 hour test. I wondered how high, really, is 147? Are there any statistics on how many women test that high who turn out not to have gestational diabetes? Could the fact that I had only had lunch about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes before the test have anything to do with the elevated results? Thank you,
-- Deena
