Possible Infection? Two or three times in the last 4-5 weeks weeks I've noticed a vaginal burning after I get out of the shower (but no other time). Then there is some discharge and itching. The itching does not last beyond just a few minutes. I haven't called the doctor because these symptoms disappeared right away and I guess I thought it was irritation. Intercourse is not a possible cause in any of the occurances. I have had Leukorrhea (sp?) throughout the pregancy and it does seem to have increased (but I was told this is normal). It happened this morning and this time there is a soreness around the vaginal opening that has lasted throughout the day (but still no more burning or itching). Does this sound like an infection? If so, what type does it sound like? Why would I only have symptoms after a shower? Could it be the soap I'm using? If it was an infection, wouldn't the symptoms persist until treated? How important is it to get right to the doctor (I'm going away for the weekend and won't be able to call until Monday)? Could this be harmful to my baby? Thank you.
