I too have experienced prolonged spotting periods the last 2 cycles of my clomid treatment (100mg for both). Both of which lasted on and off for roughly 1~2.5 weeks after I was tested to ovulate. However, spotting was not red or bright red, it was more of a brownish red. In my previous clomid treatments (2 cycles: 50mg, 100mg) periods were somewhat prolonged, spotting lasted only 3~5 days. I've asked my obgyn and he did not think this should be due to clomid, but we haven't ruled it out either. Any thoughts?
