HI Joanna,
I just wanted to let you know that I am an x-ray tech and we do perform
Chest x-rays on pregnant women. We put a lead shield behind them for
one view and then beside them for the other. Even if we forgot to put
this shield around the patient (Which we don't), Our x-ray beam is
concentrated on the chest area, not anywhere close to your baby. I
wouldn't stress over this at all!
