Current situation: I chart bbt, CM (FAM). There's a clear thermal shift with ovulation with a drying up of CM. This month I ovulated at CD 8. I had a very good thermal shift the next day (had ovulation pains on CD 8) and my temps stayed up for 1 week. At 7 dpo (CD15) Temp dropped to coverline (though no below) and (more?) EWCM (creamier than normal) and also had ovulation pains (though from the other side). Temps went back up and stayed up along with my cervical fluid drying up. At my doctors advice I've quit taking my bbt, its driving me crazy and isn't giving me info at this point. My dilema is this: at 12/14 dpo I tested BFN (very sensitive tests, done correctly), at 15/18/20/22 dpo I tested again and got a very faint line of the same intensity each time (within time limit). Doc wants to wait 1 week before doing a bHCG because as she put it "I'd like to see some results that aren't equivocal". I'm very frustrated at this point, I'm over 1 week late for my period. I have the same pg symptoms that I had with my twins (sore breasts, nausea, moodiness, fatigue, forgetfullness) but since I wasn't charting when I conceived I don't know if this is how it was.

Your recommendations? I'm worrying about low progesterone. I'm concerned that I may have ovulated twice (rare, but I have a twin-mom friend who has twins due to that!) I'm wondering if an ultrasound would shed some light? Would it do any good to get bHCG test and/or progesterone test done before next week? What's causing my period to be delayed? Why I wouldn't test positive on an HPT this far into the (possible) pregnancy??

I have 2 year old twins (ident).
When I got pg with them I had a LMP of 7/21/98.
The only instance of intercourse was on 8/7/98.
I tested with a pretty sensitive HPT at 21 dpo
(I had my regular ovulatory pain on 8/7) and it was completely negative.
I went to the doc 7 days later for an unrelated matter
and a urine pg test came up positive then (28 dpo).
Currently I'm in the first month after a miscarriage.
The m/c cycle I began to see faint positive
HPT's at 13 dpo but miscarried before 5 weeks.
Please, if you have any ideas I'd really appreciate it,
I'm in tears every day because of this,
its very frustrating, I can't seem to trust my
body to do anything correctly!  Thanks so much!
