2 quick questions on ultrasound accuracy and longish cycles

1 - my cycles are usually 31-33 days long. I know from other postings that dating the age of the fetus with an early vaginal ultrasound (at 6 or 7 weeks LMP) is accurate to +/- 3 or 4 days. is that assuming a 28 day cycle? in other words, if my cycle is longer than 28 days, then does the accuracy rate widen a bit, to maybe +/-6 or 8 days?

2 - also, I called my docs office to ask about this and the nurse said no, it's not DAYS, it's WEEKS - early vaginal ultrasound dating is only accurate +/- 2 weeks. Why would that be so different from all the postings here???? please help. thank you for your time.
