I hope you don't mind me sharing my experience. Not at all. Thanks, and congratulations! I'm waiting for the doctor who warned me off the Prilosec to call back with other suggestions; I stopped two days ago, am already feeling crummy, and Xantac hasn't helped. I'm refluxing a little, but the main problem is that everything I eat seems to be lodged somewhere in my throat, and it *wants* to come back up. In fact, I described the feeling so well that I had to run to the bathroom and throw up as soon as I finished the previous sentence! Since I was just getting over the worst of my queasiness, and becoming able to eat again and go back to work, this is a big disappointment to me. But you're right; only a doctor can give me an answer for this.
