Re: Prilosec during pregnancy?

I am not a doctor but had the same question early in my pregnancy. My doctors advised me not to take Prilosec when pregnant, so I stopped when I was trying to conceive. I was told it is a Class C drug.

However, you need to listen to your doctors. They will be able to tell you if the benefits outweigh the potential risks. Also, you can always call your pharmacist. He/she can give you the manufacturer's info. I did that as well. By the way, I was on Prilosec for a year and a half before stopping it. I am 7 months pregnant now and have suffered no reflux. Must be a miracle!

Best wishes to you. I hope you don't mind me sharing my experience.
