Prilosec during pregnancy?

I've been on Prilosec for years -- it controls my acid reflux beautifully. Now I'm 11 weeks pregnant with twins. Neither my fertility specialist nor my Ob/Gyn raised an alarm when I listed it as one of my medications. (Perhaps it got lost in the shuffle?) But a specialist in another area pointed out that Prilosec is quite new and that we have almost no data on its safety in pregnancy. Is this true? Should I stop taking it and return to the full glory of my old refluxing?
