Before my first Clomid cycle I had no testing other then a pelvic exam. I am overweight and since that can cause anovulation itself I'm guessing that is what my Dr. assumed. I was the same weight I am now when I concieved both of my other children on the first month trying so I wasn't so sure my weight was the real problem. I will finish the Clomid cycle and discontinue it until my optometrist verifies the optical nerve swelling is gone. Thanks for you help and I think I will seek another Dr. when we start trying to conceive again in a few months (hopefully I will get pregnant this cycle, but I'm trying not to be too hopeful...a year of trying has left me with a negative attitude) >
