Thank you for responding. I spoke to my OBGYN and she said my fibroid, though on a stalk, is the size of a melon, and is too big for laproscopic surgery. Which do you feel (and I know it's just an opinion) is riskier: going under general anesthesia and having a myomectomy (by the time I could have the surgery -- Nov. -- and then recover from it, I'll be close to 44) or just trying to get pregnant with a pedunculated fibroid as large as mine is? Tough, huh?
