Hyperprolactinemia is a concern for infertility, and a prolactin level is one of the basic labs that are drawn on any woman that is contemplating taking Clomid, along with a thyroid stimulating hormone level, a complete blood count, a rubella titer, and a semen analysis, so I suspect that you doctor has already ruled out these things. I would be willing to believe that Clomid could cause transient swelling of the optic nerve, though I have not heard of that complication before today.
